What is everyone's solution for doing on location shoots. How do you do it with light stands, umbrellas, soft boxes, lighting, etc? Is there a better solution than carrying everything around piece by piece?

My small kit has 4 flashes, triggers, 3 compact stands, 4 umbrellas, and assorted grip (swivels, super clamps, etc.) in a large plastic toolbox. I'm off lining my cage with newspaper.

If you have a Harbor Freight handy, you might take a look st theirs. The ones Ive seen at Sam's Club were more of a dolly/hand truck which is great for items in boxes but not so great when you start stacking sandbags and such on it. I'm off lining my cage with newspaper.

Both turned out to be great photographers; better than their old man (me). I haul less around these days. I do have a folding two wheel hand truck that works well with a large Rubbermaid tub if I have the need now, which isn't very often. Good luck!
