Just wanted to see the % among users....typically one bad opinion can spoil hundreds of good opinions on forums...

No issues with mine so far. Will have to use it for a good while to determine just how good it is though.

No issues with mine, and this is my first sigma lens.
I would like to place it at the same level as my 70-200 L isII from canon.

I dont own the Sigma 35 yet but I thought the general consensus was that it didn't have focus issues like the other Sigma primes like the 30 and the 50.

Got my 2nd copy, both with no issues, no MFA needed all focused correctly under artificial and natural light.

This. And why AF, focus issues matter for someone who says shoots manual.

Thanks. I was wondering...what this dock is doing exactly? How does it calibrate the lens?

Thanks, interesting:-)

So it looks like you would still need to understand what exactly you need to adjust and need to perform some testing beforehand. Is it different to what you have in cameras for MF adjustments?

It is supposed to do pretty much what in-camera MFA does, but you can calibrate the lens at three different distances times three different FL (for zooms).
