I.e. a projector optimized for film use and not for displaying PowerPoints or Excel diagrams. 5DMk2 + BG-E6 | 40D + BG-E2N | 350D + BG-E3 + RC-1 | Elan 7E | Minolta Dimage 7U | (Gear thread)

This one might look like one of the nacelles on the Enterprise, but is an extremely good projector - but at an extremely high price. http://store.sony.com …VW1000ES/en/p/VPLVW1000ES $25K, oh joy...better get Larry Ellison to join your camera club! We find it to be an excellent projector. Accurate colors, very bright, astoundingly quick to set up and quiet. Well worth the $1000 or so we spent. I believe it has been replaced by the 1776W. I am currently considering purchasing one to replace the Canon projector I use for my workshops and seminars.

The resolution is one issue. More importantly is the bit depth of most projectors - 6 bit. "Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.
