Haven't shot any macro in ages but by virtue of meeting an extremely environmentally conscious beekeeper I decided my new project would be to build a large portfolio of bee pictures with which we could produce a book about his bees and their surroundings on the edge of the city of Vienna. Here are the first few snaps I got inside one of the hives. I really need to practice a lot again :-)

#2 and #3 are actually of a queen bee cell being tended by workers.
