Been quite some time since I did some astro-imaging, but with a little more time coming my way now and with the weather (hopefully) becoming a little more favourable, I've pulled out my gear in preparation. Going through my old data and tinkering to refresh my memory on image processing, I found some data from last year that I don't think I ever got around to processing or posting.

So here is M17 the Swan Nebula (sometimes called Omega Nebula) in Sagittarius.

Thanks guys. Tried hard to maintain the star colours. Surprised at the nebulosity still achievable from inner city Brisbane's light pollution.
