I have an older HP Noebook computer running a 32 BIT system (Windows Vista).
I don't want to purchase a new notebook computer for an upcoming two week trip to Venice, Greece and Istanbul but, I want to download my RAW images from my CF cards and copy them to a pair of small physical size but, high capacity external hard drives.
I use Photoshop CS6 and Bridge for my images at home on my desktop computer running Windows 7 in 64 BIT. However, I don't want to install that on my notebook.
Instead, I want to download my images using the Canon supplied software and copy them to the external hard drives, leaving them in RAW format. I don't have any need to post process my images on the trip but would like to view them so I could deect any camera/lens flaws...
Will my images be compromised by downloading them with a 32 BIT computer?
