We had a PBR event here in town this past weekend. I had access to the shark cage in the arena and shot the event from inside of that. Due to horrific lighting in our arena, I pretty much had no choice but to shoot with a flash. A good friend of mine used one of my cameras and shot from up in the announcers booth from up and behind the shoots where the bull riders came out. Check out these two shots...the first one is mine, the second shot is the exact same shot that my friend took...as the flash went off for this first pic.

I use Canon gear...have several bodies and lenses and am quite pleased with them.

Cool love the second one for its different perspective and feel. First one is nice too, but maybe you can bring down the exposer a bit in post. Thanks for sharing these.

First one doesn't do much for me. Too much depth of field to shoot across the "arena" (not sure what its called in bull riding) when the bull and rider are so close to the far side. I just gets busy.

The second image, on the other hand, wow! great shot, great perspective, great processing.

Oh...I totally agree with the first one. I just posted it to show the exact same shot that was captured from up above and behind in the second one and lit by that same flash.

Love the 2nd image. I've always wanted to go to see one of these events. Missed a big one in Las Vegas by a day!
