Well, that doesn't look anything like my 1981 Ford Escort I bought in the US.

After looking at the rest of them on Flickr, there appears to be an Escort fan club that really puts effort into making these cars look great.

I think some of the others on your Flickr stream are better photographs than this version you posted here. This one has the blue car, people, other cars, and that red thing above the roofline that detract from your framing and focus.

Thanks for sharing, I had to go to Wikipedia to learn more about this car that I thought I knew all about.

1D-III with stuff to stick on it:
70-200L, 28-70L, 24-105L, 300L, 50, 10-17 fish, 2.0x TC
Image editing OK, encouraged, and expected. Thank you for helping me learn!

Hi there, a 1991 Escort would have over here been a MK4. The green one (Mine) in the pic is a MK1 RS2000 from 1974
Yes, The MK1 & MK2 Escort has a HUGE following over here in the UK with pristine examples worth above the 20k mark. MK1 RS1600's are 30k+ & MK2 RS1800's are 40k+

Kind regards, Kevin

Looks like a nice car, with the rally history of these motors I would shoot in more of a rally type setting. A forest road, steep single lane road or alike. Cos. a the moment there is far to much clutter around it, distracting for the motor. Keep shooting.
