I tried to make them 1024 on the long side but software said they were to big i think i got it.

Wonderful 1st post of a Yellow and Blue-headed and although small, they are easy to see. Many here open accounts at Photobucket, Flicker, etc to share larger pix, but I'm sure you'll deal with the size issue as you see fit. Please feel free to bring us more!

Download irfanview it's free. Open your photo go to image/resize and set to 1024x768. Then save as ## . When the dialog box open set the size to 148KB and save to whatever name and location you want.

Lovely shots and welcome.

Best thing is to get a hosting service like Flicker or your own web page and post links, you are then only restricted on pixel dimensions plus you can post up to eight images as links.
