As of now you need $20 more to buy student/teacher edition with valid verification for it to work..

Who knows what crap is that anyways. Will it tune or de-tune and take the whole CPU and memory for itself..

If you have purchased LR within 30 days of the new version being released, then you're eligible for a free upgrade.

Edit: This statement is false. In hindsight, I feel like a tool for regurgitating this load of bull without checking Adobe's policy.
