6D import issue

Got my 6d about 30 min ago Took about 20 or so pics. Tried to import into LR4 and says "theirs no preview available for this image". When I click import, it says "it does not recognize file format .CR2" which is raw. Never had a problem before.

Have you updated lightroom lately? Since the 6D came out since the LR4 was introduced you might need to run the update.

DL'ing now.

Setting is set to RAW only. Sandisk Extreme pro was formatted in camera prior to first shot. Once update is done Ill see where I'm at.

All raws are not created equal. The raw file from one to another may have the same file extension but not be recognized by the software.

that would be odd if I cant use 6D raw files in LR4
