A couple of weeks ago I had the good fortune of buying a slightly used Epson Pro 3880 which had been use to print fine art on canvas. The owner showed me one of his prints & it was very impressive but not something I'd be doing but he included a decent quantity of canvas along with fine art paper & a bit of Epson photo paper (I already have a good assortment & an R2880). I've tried to read up on printing to canvas which seems to be very popular but have a few questions about the types of photos that look good on canvas.
What looks good & why? I've got a lot of family photos from baby pictures to anniversary photos & will soon be shooting the 65th wedding anniversary set for my mother & father in law. Lots of collector car photos, primarily Corvettes plus lots & lots of model aircraft in flight & lots of underwater photos while diving.
Also should they be processed a bit differently vs when printed to glossy or lustre photo paper?
