Looks like fun! I've always wanted to get a glider category rating attached to my certificate. Nice shots!

Just go do it, you won’t regret it! I’ve been flying C130 for more than 20yrs & have just come back to gliding having not flown one during that period. It is so nice to be flying something that you can feel everything that it is doing, it’s just lovely having the a/c talk to you in such an intimate way. Gliding has reinvigorated my love of aviation.

Pure flying!

plus the photography opportunites are great.

I had a ball going to the Benalla Gliding Club in my teens and early 20's. Had a number of joy flights. Great fun getting to fly them myself as well (in a IS28B I think from memory) . A magic way to fly.


Currently just a P&S, but watch this space.

hahahahahaha, at least every glider pilot knows that when he takes off the next landing will be a forced landing!
