Hey Guys,

Quick question, I have a 580exII and a 430exII, looking to get transmitters for off camera use. Should I get the YN-622 or the RF-603? I have 6d.

Thanks

You've provided so little information it's impossible to point you in either direction. Perhaps you should educate yourself on each set before asking such a vague question. One is a manual trigger that doubles as a shutter release while the other does not but makes up for it with ttl, hss, hypersync, groups and the ability to control OCF from the back of the camera. It seems like a no brainier to me.

You might as well get the 622c unless budget is a concern. You retain ETTL and can still use them in manual with control via the camera menu.

Sorry for the vague question..

Well the 622c are still sheaper than pocket wizards so :)

So if I go with the 622c I'll be able to use remote shutter relase, already have one.

Yes, you can use a radio shutter release with the 622s. If there is a conflict, change the S/R channel.

Do not mount the S/R receiver on the 622 if it has a hotfoot (i.e. pins underneath) - find somewhere else to park it.
