Sorry , not up with L brackets so couldn't answer that,why would you need an L bracket for Panoramic?

This is the first Benro I've used, but its smooth as butter with independent drag and lock control.... even that was a bit expensive for me though, but It works well and I think I'd need to throw it off a 10 story building to damage it..
