sRAW to RAW?

My apologies for any redundancy, I posted this question a moment ago in the wrong forum.

I recently shot some images with the camera (5D) set to sRAW, but I didn't realize this and the client needs larger files. Since an sRAW file is a compressed version of a RAW file, I was hoping there was a way to decompress the sRAW files and make them full size RAW files.
If that isn't possible, is there a way to create TIFFs from these sRAW files that would come the same size as if they had come from full size RAW files?
The client needs to make large format prints (40x60ish) so starting with the largest possible RAW file would be best. The client doesn't consider Interpolating the TIFF in Photoshop a viable option.

You have to rez up the file and that's never an ideal situation. Download the trial of Perfect Resize from OnOne (used to be called Genuine Fractals) and see if it will give you what you need. You're asking to add a lot of pixels back in there so I don't know how well it will turn out. But it never hurts to try with a trial.

sRaw is not compressed like a zip file (can be uncompressed again) but like a jpeg - the extra data is discarded. If this isn't an unrepeatable event (like a wedding) it is probably time to tell the client you suffered an equipment malfunction and offer to reshoot for free.

Yeh, it is also about a quarter of the resolution of the Raw and the 5D is only 13 MP to start with, so 40x60 from 4 or even 6 MP is expecting an awful lot.

Nope, you'll have to reshoot. Suggest you get a test 40x60" print first, they're cheaper than a reshoot, it will probably come out fine - I have a 60" print from a 12MP file and it looks fantastic. People being really critical may be able to notice, but if people will see it from 2m away or more it should look totally fine.
