There are a couple of things, like redraw rates when zooming. I figure there is usually something that didn't make it to the previous release that got stuffed into the new version. Soemtimes the benefits are so small, they aren't worth mentioning. I installed it, haven't seen a difference. Then again, I was still on 3.1 until a month ago.
