Cannot take photos at my daughters recital??? please read statement by dance studio

Sounds normal. For the past 4 years I attend all dress rehersals and get my photos then.
It is nice on the night of the show to sit back and enjoy my daughters performence.

not taking sides but if i paid for a video of my kid and it was filled with parents cutting through the shot to get photos with their phones id be pissed. would have been ok in my book if they hired a photog as well. i look at photos of my kid all the time. the videos are generally just for when the grandparents come over. their room though, you can always vote with your money.

I agree. But in this video you cannot even make the faces out.
