They're both good. I like the stars in #1. It looks like the moon was out lighting everything.

I like the foreground in #2 which gives it some depth.

Number 2 is the best shot. I think the shadow areas are just too dark in the first, yes i understand it's a nice shot but if that dark I wouldn't of bothered unless you could pull some of it back.

Thanks for the comments, it was hard to get shots in the daylight as we were too busy 4 wheel driving and fishing, so i had to make do. The moon was out in full force that night too!
