I have just purchased a new computer basically to handle all my photographic needs.
This computer is 100% clean other than Firefox and now Lightroom 5

2 hard drives C: = 240GB SSD drive. D: = 1TB HDD

I have been told that it is best to have the Catalog/ Previews and CR Cache configured to be on the SSD.
My images should be configured to be on the HDD drive.

I have done the installation and the Cache is on the C: drive but everything else is on the D: drive (D:\users\Grumply\Pictures\Lightroom)
My question is -- How do I get my Catalog / Previews and Cache to be on the C drive and my images to be on the D drive

I was going to do this (move photos to new comp) a couple months back and got side tracked with life. I still have a question before jumping into the project. Do I also need to move presets to the new computer? I have several that I have downloaded and installed on the current computer and don't want to lose the photo edits that I have made using them.

You won't loose the edits if you don't move the presets, but you will have to move them if you want to keep using them ;)

Awesome! Thank you, René. I'll do the migration this weekend.
