Not quite but I thought I would check out the Tamron rig. Mixed results, but not too shabby. The light needs some serious work (or I need more practice with the diffuser on this one). Also I missed the focus I was aiming for (not the gear, just me).

This was the most friendly of hovers, kept landing on me, my shoe, my jeans, my camera, on the lens on the flash. At one point I tried to grab the other camera and get a shot of the hover on this one :D . Finally I put my finger close to it and it obliged..

Once a bee landed on a flower I was not brave enough, so out came the MP-E rig

These little springtails are addictive. I still don't have crisp focus at near 5x, but this model of springer has some 'feathers' and they will get captured one day :D

And finally I was getting swimming lessons from a froghopper.

Thanks Terry.

Thanks Dennis. My higher mag shots tend to be soft, I have yet to cure my problem with that. The bee shots are usually (like a lot of my work) a matter of luck and persistence. In this case there was only opportunity for two shots, and I missed the mark on those. Thanks for pointing it out, that is something I need to improve on

Wonderful assortment, Bas. I have a weakness for springtails and just cannot seem to find any to shoot but I am glad I can enjoy yours!
