My professor at school let me borrow his 50-500 Sigma lens. Here is one good pic that i got. The weather was very crappy here and i didn't get any good landscape shots. This is one of the better ones. Critique is welcome.

It's a great lens. 50-500 is a great range. The lens costs 1000 bucks but its worth every penny. It's a bit heavy (around 5lbs).

I think it looks nice and sharp.
Ofcours the best time to shoot the moon is when its half cresent,the shadow on the craters make it look impressive.

What were the camera settings please ? I have same set-up but have not managed anything like this...hb
