Anyone using this yet? Opinions? Looks interesting, and I played around with a trial, even with heavy adjustments, there was no halo-ing (sp?). Just wondering what others are thinking about it.

If steroids are illegal for athletes, should PS be illegal for models?

Most enhancement filters add halos and loss of detail.
Post your heavy adjustments ..

Ok. The first is SOOC, second is 100% bump (1.00) in 'Micro Contrast', 'Low Contrast', 'Medium Contrast', and 'High Contrast'. Third is a preset called 'Hummingbird II'. No other adjustments of any kind were applied, other than 'Save for Web' conversion to jpeg. Any halos?

SOOC

I bought it a few days ago and I really like the control over the range the contrast enhancement is applied on as well as results quality.

Anyone interested in Topaz Clarity should also try their sister product Topaz Detail, another very good enhancer of image technical aspect.

The edits look like crap. Hard to improve something with PP when it doesn't start out good.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again... You weren't hugged enough as a child. 4100+ posts, and they're all negative, without anything constructive.

With that said, the pics used were just something I grabbed to quickly generate examples, and not wonderful photos. It's a darn squirrel for goodness sake.

Like agedbriar says, is there detail loss in image #3? That would be the one to really look at. IMO, even image #2 has minimal loss considering the extreme adjustments.
