Finally a couple of hummingbirds visited my feeder and backyard, a female anna's and a female rufous. The rufous almost always go directly to the feeder while the anna's always go to the flowers. I hope I will have more chance to take pictures of the rufous, and maybe a male will show up.

Shot really late and I had to bump up the ISOs and use slow shutter speed.

All things considered Jo, great job. You will get many more chances.;)

There will be days when you get the shot(s) you missed days, months or years before.

Excellent catches Jo...I like that shutter speed for movement in the wings, but clarity on the body. What was the SS?

Mark, the shutter speed was 1/400, aperture is f/5.6 and ISO 3200. :)
