she needs more light in her eyes, try and dodge up the shadows and this shot works better when he is looking at her.

good looking couple, hopefully you got a solid set of keepers for your port. :)

You always should see the light on the face, direct sunlight is generally not the right place to put your subjects. The whites are fried, which indicates overexposure.

Inconsistent lighting really hurts these as has been said. The whites are also overexposed. As a portrait of a couple, it does not work. The person behind is not connected in any way - looking away, disinterested, no emotion captured. His arm going straight into her head. Pose for the woman is bad - straight on, arms straight down, bland. Hands chopped off. His feet chopped off.

The location does not work well for a portrait at that time of day. Harsh light with the shadows on the faces - really not ideal. You would need quite a few extra off camera light sources to even everything out and there really is no reason to bother to go through all that work as the location isn't special really.

I like your composition but too much shadows going on in the face. Back lit them next them.
