Such a transformer does not exist. Transformers only work on AC (alternating current). Batteries produce DC (direct current).

Technically yes, but DC/DC converters do exist

I agree, just limited on cash flow right now and got a big shoot (personal project) I could use at least 3 vagabonds (and 2spare batteries) which could cost about a grand... But could get away with just 1 vagabond, or the car's battery if possible... so wasn't sure. Was looking for save on my budgeted big shoot going down in 2 weeks.

Get a Vegabond Mini and a couple of deep cycle 12v batteries. When the lithium battery on the mini runs out you can hook up the inverter part to the 12v batteries and keep shooting. You just have to make an adapter wire with the correct Anderson plugs to connect the batteries to the mini.

I built a large power supply for lights with a Optima Car Gell cell battery, a pure sine wave inverter and and smart battery charger. I keep it plugged in the garage and can be used for many things. Its all put together and housed on a MIlk carton attached to a rolling collapsible cart with hose clamps.

Room for a heavy 50 foot power cable too. I have run up to for einstein's at once with ZERO issues.
