OPPPPS sorry,

Its been a week...

It was very close this week and I almost picked The Joke by M 6. It is a moment but as you all know I always look for other supporting visual elements so drum roll please....

Ane the winner is:

Matrim 33 because of wonderful illusion created by the picture in the center of the frame, the windows and similar foliage in both one cool and one warm which creates this cool frame inside a frame idea. Heres a great example of how a centered comp really works because of the symmetry. The woman is also on a portable device which also say a lot about our society today and the fact that she has covered her eyes in an attempt to remain anonymous I also find ironic in todays society.

So WTG Matrim33

Thanks guys, and thank you airfrogusmc for the nod. Also, great shots all around. I'm drooling over "the joke" I love the shot, I also love the 6400 iso. You could play checkers on that shot with my camera ;) Someday...

I took the shot in Hawaii a couple weeks ago. My wife and I rented a cottage on a coffee farm just up the hill from Kona. I took this one of her while walking by. She got the hand up faster than I got the camera up. I'll try to remember to never duel her

I wasn't sure if the painting in the back would work or not. I'm glad you liked it. I thought it verged on being too busy, but I liked the story everything told. I'm glad you caught the foliage outside. I wasn't sure if it would be enough to see that it was also tropical. Definitely not my sharpest shot, I'm glad the comp got me through.

I'll throw up the next competition later today. Should I end it on Monday? Looks like everybody has been getting their shots up pretty quickly.
