Went down to Saluda, NC while I was sightseeing in Asheville with the intention of shooting Pearson Falls. The light was crazy by the time I got there so I shot some down stream from the falls. Still got some hot spots but did the best I could with what I was given.

There are some very funky colors in there with the blues and pinks and purples. Tough situation to shoot in though. #3 is my favorite of the bunch.

#3 was most successful in my opinion, but I think even that image could be improved by getting lower to the ground and finding some interesting to place in the foreground. And even though it may be obvious, you were definitely shooting in the wrong time of the day. I think, however, that there is plenty of potential, enough to warrant a return trip. #5 was also interesting as well.

Thanks for sharing. Keep shooting!

John

Yes. Wrong time of day all together. I had never been there so I did not know what to expect as far a light goes. Had that trip to make it work.

I agree there are some funky colors in there. I really pushed these in PP and apparently went a little too far.

I am trying to get a little trip planned to the Smokies here soon. If all goes well I am hoping to get back there to re-shoot when the light is better.
