If you've made a "dry box" out of a plastic tote...

If you've made a poor-man's dry box out of a sealed plastic storage box plus some kind of desiccant, have you noticed any problem with plasticizers evaporating from the plastic box and then condensing on your equipment?

(Look at the bottom of the windshield glass of an older car to see the effect for the plasticizers evaporating from the dashboard and then condensing on the glass... it forms a foggy appearance.)

I always thought on airplanes (not with thin plexi windshields, but laminated), that the foggy appearance was the layers of plastic delaminating... Never really saw that on a car windshield.....

Dry box. Seems like plastic tote boxes with desiccant should be OK...
