well, thanks for all the comments. I appreciate the sentiments.

Julio, it snowed on Monday morning and I took this shot on Tuesday morning around 9:30am. The east side of the valley seemed to get more snow than the west though.

As for the HDR process. There's really not much to it. By taking bracketed exposures to cover the dynamic range, it's merely a matter of merging them using either CS2's Merge to HDR, or Photomatix, and messing around with the Tone Mapping parameters until it looks reasonable. (Photomatix's Tone Mapping function isn't perfect, but it seems to be the best way to convert from 32bit to 16bit.) It's then just a matter of post processing the resulting image as you would any other, ie Levels/Curves etc.
