How do you keep your in camera picture style? Kept my 7D on faithful. Once I got my 6D I just kept it on auto, and seems some pics just have to much in camera color for me. Those who shoot weddings, do you find it easier in PP using a certain picture style?

Well, I think most people here shoot in RAW so it doesn't matter too much, but what most don't realize it that it *IS* important to an extent in that your histogram is generated out of your jpeg preview image. So if you are using Standard picture style, it will have a tendency to show extremely blown out reds quite easily, which may affect your decisions on what settings to use.

I use jpegs for same day slideshows, so I need the colour to be awesome and accurate for my jpegs, so Picture Styles are very important to me.

I have found the best setting for natural colour with a bit of contrast is a modified Neutral picture style. I set mine to:
Sharpness 5
Contrast 2
Saturation 2
Tone 0

So the in camera "picture style" only effects jpep images? So picture style doesn't matter if your shooting RAW?

exactly. I often set my style to monochrome when working with a model in the studio, since I will turn them b/w later on anyway. Once you import the raw files they'll first show up in b/w in Lightroom as well, but change to color once you click them (or sometimes by themselves it seems). I find it very handy for this one case, otherwise I have it set to faithful or what it's called, I think that gives you the best histogram to work with when shooting RAW.

If you shoot jpeg you will get what you set the camera to.

It only will affect the preview jpeg embedded inside the raw file.

What Lloyd said. If you want to be a pro best try to understand your equipment and processing software better first. DPP honors picture styles, ACR/LR don't.

If you use DPP to convert your raw files the in camera picture style serves as your starting point. So in theory it could help speed your work flow, but as has been mentioned above having a more accurate preview .jpg is more important.
