Taken at Guanica Puerto Rico (southern part of the Island). This one had her nest in plain sight over the ground. Was guarding her chick very closely and looking at me the whole time. I was able to get close, moving very slowly towards her. You can see the cute little face of her chick which hatched just a couple of days before the pics were taken.

Lens: Sigma 150-500mm
