Not a cheap one though!

Just over three week ago I scooped up a 15-85mm locally in mint condition for a song... really, the price was just obscene! :D

On Monday my mailman brought me a 100mm macro. I love it! It's seen probably 400 shutters so far, and it's only Thursday!
I think macro is going to be a very busy subject for me.

So how does one top this?

Simple...

Walk into your LCS and ask the nice person behind the counter to bag up one of these for you.

Just don't forget to act like you really don't need one... and be sure to mention, in an off handed sort of way of course, the amazing sale price you just happened to see. That very morning too as luck would have it.

Plus... if the stars are really in your favor... you might just get a free CPL in the bargain.

Yup. It's been a good month indeed!

BTW... if anyone happens to see my wallet, please ask it to come back home. I miss it and I promise to be more gentle in the future.

Gary Busey Rules!

BrickR, I think the rolling in question is the rolling of my bank account!

Phoenixkh, no singing... just good karma and timing with the local classifieds. I was told at the door when I bought it, that it was the last of the Canon gear they owned. They had been the victim of a smash and grab from their car. Luckily their insurance covered the replacement costs and they decided to go with Nikon.
