It's a good thing there aren't any major events planned for this weekend because it's supposed to rain for the next 5 days. These were shot last Sat before the winds shortened the event, but as you can see it was a very grey day.

Jun 06, 2013 21:53 | #3 Thanks Frank. The Spitfire was very realistic looking & best of all the owner / pilot liked doing high speed low passes. I had to overexpose by 2 stops most of the day to get decent looking photos but it paid off. This particular club is hosting an all scale event in July (first one locally) & I'm hoping it will be an interesting one to shoot since most scale builders favor warbirds. A skill is developed through constant practice with a passion to improve, not bought.

I'm really hoping the weather clears up in time but the long range says otherwise. It's a speed event for EDF Jets and it's the only event like it in Canada. A skill is developed through constant practice with a passion to improve, not bought.
