Seeing all the wonderful macro images here lead me to another "first". To Wit: a fly. While the quality trails most, it is exciting to have some success.

Disclaimer: This was taken post-mortem, so the little guy was a cooperative model on which to practice. Now I need to figure out how to get a live one to pose.

Great detailed capture.

Maybe I should read Brian's tutorials again.

Thanks all.

No doubt there are good books on the subject of macro photography. However, I just finished one from a respected photography and frankly, I got more from Brian's tutorial.
