I've been wanting to try this for a while, but was either not the right time of the year, schedule conflict, bright moon... well, I haven't visited this section of the forum in a while, and after seeing all of the great Milky Way shots being posted lately and the fact there is no moon tonight, that was enough to get me back out of bed! I didn't get too far out of town, and I know my first attempt suffers from light pollution, but other wise, thoughts? comments? Improvements?
Shot was at 3200 ISO, f/3.5, 25 sec exposure. Post process was just a small bump in exposure, contrast, and a little noise reduction
