Has anyone used one of the new Giottos YTL tripods, the CF ones in particular?

I'm sick of lugging my Manfrotto aluminium one around the country, it only just fits in my suitcase so have been looking for a better travel option. A local store is having a sale and I can pick one up for $250.

I can only find one review on the net (positive) and looking for any other opinions before I go pick one up in the morning.

No takers? I picked one up today, the specs are exactly what I need and for the price I couldn't go past it.

Out of the box the build quality is poor. All the screws required tightening so I put a little threadlock on to keep them in place.

I'm off again Monday morning so will see how it travels next week.
