So I want to get a CPL but I don't have a big budget. Which is the best I can get for $50? I can go a bit higher but would like to stay around 50. Thanks!

In your price range, I'd just save up for a good one, which will easily run you twice what you have available now. You want it to be multicoated and you want it to be from a reliable vendor like B+W (MRC) or Hoya (S-HMC or HD2). Some people speak well of Marumi. Sorry, but you're really better off not buying something of poor quality.

Are you looking for one for your 10-22? If so be mindful that the CPL really does not work all that great on the UWA, it creates an uneven blue sky due to the wide field of view. Also make sure it's a thin version so it will not vignette. I do have one to use on my 10-22 but it's rare that I use it. If you truly only have $50, I say watch for a used one on Ebay or your local CL, I've got some good deals on the better brand CPL's by being patient. The brands as noted by Jon are your better ones.

you get what you pay for, save your money, save some more, get a B&W. You'll get one eventually anyway, no need to throw away $50 now.

I'd wait til you can spend a little more. I just recently purchased a 67 and 77mm marumi super dhg and so far I'm very happy with it and its not much out of your price range, 2filter.com carries it for $80.

I'd go with Marumi super DHG. It is more than $50, but worth it.

Save and buy once instead of buying a cheap one and regretting it and buying a nicer one. I tested out some cheaper ones and luckily I was able to return it. I bought some B+W here on the market place for cheap. Not $50 cheap but like $20 cheaper then new.

As you can see, everyone suggests waiting and buying better/buying once. BUT- If you cannot/will not do this, I've had fairly good luck with the multi-coated version sold by BestBuy. It will be replaced, however, hence the wisdom of waiting...... and spending only once (and yes, I realize I'm saying "Do as I say, not as I did").
