Inspiration credit goes to Terry for reviving the "non insect macro" thread

Some old test wafers from back in my semi-conductor days. Pretty much straight out of the camera. Light source was a diffused (paper towel) CFL desk lamp.

Hope you enjoy. Was contemplating titling this series "Repetition" or something to that effect...anywho on with the show

Thanks Ian, takes a lot of experimentation on how to angle the light and rotate the wafer. I had originally tried this back in march but became frustrated with dialing the light source to angle properly to get the colors to pop

Thanks for the tips JD. Stuck in work till 9:30pm (On a sunny Saturday pff) but on rest day for a few after this so think I'll give it a whirl (need to remember where it is )
