Took shots of a couple of crane flies a couple of evenings back. All of the shots are un-cropped. I just managed to get in right up close on a couple of them with the 100mm and a 20mm ext. tube. :)

Again, managed to get in a little closer. They're quite chilled about it

This one I think is my favourite. This is set at 1:1 mag but with the 20mm tube on (so whatever mag that is)

Lovely crane fly shots, Ian. We also have this one or one quite similar to it. Beautiful background in the fly shot.
