All 3 are photographs taken whilst away on media studies confrences. The first two from the Leeds and the last from Amsterdam:

The last one does it for me, I like the DoF on that one. The Black and White fits nicely IMHO. What lens were you using for all those.

The last one is very nice. But, the DOF seems to drop off rather suddenly.

Second one is very nice too. Try cropping just above the top of the crane.

Same lens for all 3 the Sigma 24-70 f/2.8. Different boides though, the 20D for the first two and my old D60 for the bikes.

great shots, is it just me or does the background blur on #3 look a bit strange?

I think thats the sharpening.. Looks a bit odd around the cyclists in the top left doesnt it?
