What does everyone think of this HP? I do most of my editing on my MacBook Pro. But am looking for a cheaper desktop PC for my home. http://www.bestbuy.com …18860880629&skuId=7785046 (external link)

Um... Hi

Not Bad. AMD APU processors are good but not great for both graphics and CPU power. HDD and RAM are good.

What do you intend to do with the computer? If it is just general office/web/media consumption then it should be great.

From working on friends HPs and the stories i have heard, i would never buy HP, I would try and get something with an i7 processor if you want to do rendering and editing on it, Have you considered building your own computer? Would get more bang for your buck, if you do get one from hp i would recommend you do a reformat when you get it, to get rid of all the junk they install on it..

I hate HP and refuse to ever buy any of their products ever again.

My wife and I bought 2 laptops, both HP. They both had tons of issues and had to be sent in numerous times. Each time it came back with something wrong. They sent it back with missing pieces, broken pieces, scratches, dents in the cover, etc. When I would contact them about this they would say that is how they received it or the missing part was not there when they received it. They are the worst.

It's half the speed of the 3770K in benchmarks, but would probably be only slightly slower in real life. Comparison here (external link). I don't know why they bother to include a graphics card, that's just silly when it's an APU.

Add an SSD, maybe add another 8GB of RAM, it'd probably be fine.

They don't include a graphics card. The Radeon 7560D is the name of the chip built into the APU.
