Rather a disappointing day, so many opportunities kept getting away or i just couldn't get the focus right :oops:

The are the rare few that came out ok

Why embarrassed JD?
I was taught to post no matter what so the experts here can point out how we can improve.
Never be embarrassed ( I was the same once) :)

Hi JD, some days it is quite difficult to achieve pleasing shots. The last two shots are quite lovely. As you practice and gain more experience, you will find it becomes easier. Not a bad set at all! (Don't be so hard on yourself.) :)

Thanks everyone, guess I was just in a funk yesterday. All the bugs seemed more skittish than the last time I was out there but I also had stiff competition from the birds, lizards and dragonflies eating everything I was trying to shoot. Always a next time.
