Colorado High Country Spring Time

I took a ride up into the high country today for some photography and hiking. Spring is here at last. The grass is green, the wildflowers are blooming an the wildlife are feeling their oats.

Here are a couple of shots from today's hike. Taken with a Nikon D600, 105mm F2.5 AI lens and a E-Series 28mm F2.8 lens.

Thanks guys. It should stay green for the next month or so up that high. The higher alpine elevations are still brown, they won't green up for a few weeks yet.

Very nie images .. is that Pike's or Long's peak in the background?... it has been years over 30 since I've been to Colorado..
