Just returned from a trip to Yosemite and am working on some landscape shots I took there. I know NOTHING about processing such shots so have done as little as possible with them. Am I doing these right, or what adjustments should I make?

Thanks in advance.

Pretty hard to tell with this size image but I would just leave them as is - you did a great job.
The 1st image may have a colour shift as the clouds appear yellowish....this may be accurate/natural if the sun was low. You might want to rotate this one slightly to make it level. You might end up with this example....but I don't think it is any better than your original :)

Am I doing these right

That my friend is an unanswerable question...there is no "right". As Spike said the clouds should be white rather than yellow...unless you're getting some residual CA wildfire coloration.
"Right" is based entirely on your memory/emotions and how you want that image to "look"...an entirely subjective decision. ;)

Thanks, everyone. At least I know I'm getting somewhere with these shots. A lot of this IS subjective, but I don't want my efforts to look overprocessed and fake. And I HATE it when they look flat!

Wow! Very nice!
I love #2. Great colors and lighting.

Since you have "image editing ok" turned on, I decided to give it some subtle adjustments to make it "pop". I did levels adjustments (making blacks blacker, whites whiter, midtones a little deeper) and used a multiply layer ~50% on the sky and back mountains.

IMO landscape shots are best done when they replicate reality. enrich the colors and contrast to what you remember seeing and dont overdo it. they appeal to more people when its looks natural.

nature is beautiful, let it be, your camera sensor cant capture that beauty as perfectly asour eyes see it, especially in RAW, you just need to refine it and bring that back.

As Viva did with their attempt, that is perfect.

I thin the processing is too much. It's just me. Add processing so it's impossible to tell that the photo has been processed :)

Nice contrast. I'm just a little afraid to do much processing, apparently. Here's some adjusted versions with some detail and pop added. Which do you guys like, if any?

QUOTED IMAGE

Too much editing, The clouds are washed out.
