My dad and I spent 5 days in ANP at the end of May, it has taken me a while to sort through and edit what I liked from the trip. Any comments or crits are more than welcome, thanks for looking...

#1 The First night in the park, it wasn't very busy up at the most visited attraction.

#2 Star Trails over Delicate Arch. We hung around until it got dark...I have moved to shorter star trails, they seem less distracting.

Great pics. I live less than three hours away, and it's been over a year since I've been.

Excellent stuff. If I have to offer any critique, it would be to bring up the shadows a bit on #1.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for taking the time. Interesting crit, on both of my monitors there is detail in the most shadowed areas, but I will have a look at it again. This was shot well after the sun was low enough in the sky to make the whole area in the shadows, the basis for the image was actually overexposed by about +1.3.

Balanced Rock and the Moon shots are my favs!

I was there, a few years ago, but not in good enough shape to hike out the 3 mi. to Delicate Arch...but saw it and shot it from the cliff side (walked up from parking lot).

My son, who lives in AZ, and I drove all thru the Park and I did get to see a good deal and gets some nice photos of the area. It is an amazing piece of nature, for sure...tho, much of Utah and AZ have so much grand nature.

Jim K...just outside Det., MI

Thanks Jim. The hike to Delicate is a tough one...we did it the first night and I think my pack weighed 40+ pounds...when we did it on our last night I took most of the gear out, and went light.

Thanks Paul. I have actually been working on fixing the off level feeling of #6, the horizon is level but the natural slope of the rocks makes it feel rotated...I have pretty much fixed that now, and do plan on printing it for my home office...
