Post up some pics of your light box. Maybe even building directions as well.

I sale billiard products on line ,
That being said I thought your picture was slightly over exposed.
I hate plain product photography......... I know the first rule is nothing else but the product in the picture.

the bottle should be ice cold and sweating . and the picture could be cooler.
Like in a bucket of ice , or some mountain creek with snow in the back ground.
I am just learning too, but you need to make the product cool.
make the product stand out

Needs to be mouth watering , refreshing,
Or like its part of you or your life. As in you are going to enjoy something very special, Or a step above, or like it is the best drink in the hole world.

Farmer, in your shot above, the wooden handle of your product has black lines running vertical, horizontal and on a diagonal, and for me it clashes too much with the random pattern of (is that wood behind it?) what is behind it, thus conflicting with what you really want your customers to see. Perhaps some pool or billiard balls behind it would set the theme.

Anyway this is just my opinion, don't take it too seriously if you don't agree. I thought your advice for the Coke bottle was good.
