Please help find swivel hooks for a strap

I plan on getting a Luma Cinch and want to use it in combination with Optech Adapt-its: http://optechusa.com/a​dapt-its.html

But I need a pair of swivel hooks and I already found some places like

I didn't buy them from Amazon: a local hardware store stocks them in various sizes. They are smooth so non-marking to the camera body and are much easier to use than Luma's solution. They don't swivel so the Cinch stays straight

PS: I use them with the Optech utility loop on the top of the camera and Luma's membrane connector under my L bracket.

Phoenixkh, that is great info about the Cinch staying straight because of the non-swivel type of hooks that you bought. That never occurred to me.
I might as well buy the same type as yours from berkeleypoint.com in stainles steel. Thanks again!

Good advice - Have had similar happen. Switched to a oval screw shackle - no longer a concern!

I agree that care needs to be taken. The Luma test was done using a split ring coming unhooked from the snap hook. The Optech utility loop connector is a bit different as well as their adapt-its.

I bought a set of oval screw shackles from Luma when I purchased the Cinch 2 for my wife's camera. I'll keep them as a spare setup.

Have been trying the same here with a quick connect snap hook.
However, you really need a metal split ring that will act as a support.
And that movement is very particular where you need to keep the pressure on the spring of the snap hook. The chance that this will happen under load when carrying a camera is very very slim.......but probably can not be ruled out completely
Therefore I am also ordering(local) oval quick connects like Luma Cinch sells on their website.
