This Muscid lives in a very colourful world

....and a random poppy shot. I don't really do flowers but I noticed the droplets on the outside... and on the inside of this poppy in the garden.

Awesome shots Ian, great detail on the muscid. Pretty cool how you can see the water drops on the inside of the petal, something i've never noticed before.

Two wonderful shots, Ian. The poppy is awesome in many ways!

Lovely shots Ian.

I snap the flowers in my garden almost every day, ay least once to set the flash level in case a bug lands.

Thanks all, your comments appreciated.

I have to admit, I pretty much fail in most aspects of floral photography and the poppies in our garden annoy me somewhat because they get everywhere :)... I don't take them away though as they are good for additional colour in the garden and of course attract insects.
