Need suggestion Upgrade My Gear

My T3/1100D was with me more than a year, the camera take good photo, but have some limitation like the ISO capibility. After 6D on the market, I love it so much and saving for it(still short 30% of current price). Now the 100D come out, I fall in a dilemma, should I change my camera now or wait untill affort the 6D? I shoot macro a lot when hiking and jungle trekking, so the weight is concern that is reason i like 6d and 100d. Which one you will suggest to upgrade?

A)buy 100D now(budget is enough, and still invest in lens)
B)Buy 6D later(I have 3 package to choose, body only or withe kit 24-105 or 24-70)
C)Collect more lens before upgrade body.Currently I have 17-40L, 100L, 40pancake, 50mm1.4. next target is 70-300L, MP-E or UW lens.

100D is only small diferrent compared to 1100D, but huge upgrade in video mode. I love the high ISO of the 6D, that can help me do natural light macro, and no need bring the flash every time.

If you are really stuck deciding between the 100D and the 6D, I suggest you keep your money and learn what you really want or need from an upgrade before doing anything.

Thanks for advised. I am not stuck between 100D and 6D, if purchase 100D, I also will urgrade to full frame camera in the future.Just the ff still expensive for me.

100D is very small and light, the 6D is much heavier, heavier than 1100D, but it is also a much better camera.

Because the difference in weight between the 1100D and the 100D is small. ISO capabilities also. So i think it would be pointless to buy one. I would buy a tele,then wait a bit enjoying taking pictures, then I would buy a 6D (if sports isn't yout thing).

They are very different cameras indeed!
I've rented both cameras.

The 6d is not a heavy camera. It is basically the same size and weight as a 60d. The high ISO ability is of course superior and it will pair well with your 17-40 and future 70-300.
The 100d is MUCH smaller and lighter of course. When you put a bigger zoom lens on it, it negates the size advantage it gives you. Your 40mm and 50mm lenses will feel right at home on it though. If fact, an 85 1.8 goes well with the 100d. EF zooms negate size/weight advantages.
Regardless of lens, the 100d will take up considerably less room in your bag than a 6d, but that comes with sacrifices obviously.
The touchscreen on the 100d works very well and the touch to focus/shoot is quick enough with a USM lens.

With the lens(s) you have, a 6d is the better choice IMO. Buy the 6d body only and you'll be set. Buy a 100d, and you'll still have to buy a 6d much later, since you spent the money on a 100d. You aren't going to gain a massive amount on a 1000d with a 100d.

I need more patience to save enough for 6d, hope the price will decrease more. Now I need to learning more skill for the full frame. maybe consider buy 70-300L first.
